Job Description
The Senior Industrial Engineer will lead high-impact projects to optimize operational efficiency, drive innovation, and implement process improvements across Wabash.
Main Responsibilities:
- Leverage advanced engineering principles, project management expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver strategic outcomes aligned with organizational goals.
- Serve as a mentor and technical resource for junior engineers, providing guidance and fostering professional development within the team.
- Lead cross-functional teams in identifying and implementing large-scale process improvement initiatives to optimize production, logistics, and operational workflows.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field of study (Preferred: Industrial Engineering)
- Expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred), and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Minimum of 5 years of Industrial Engineering experience in manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated experience with CAD, PowerBI, SQL, Data Analytic as well as excellent problem-solving skills
- Able to apply strong principles and analytical techniques to continuously improve the manufacturing process
- Practical knowledge and understanding of traditional lean manufacturing systems
