Waccamaw Regional Veterinary Center is looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join our team!

This role will primarily focus on Surgery / Treatment. Responsibilities include patient restraint, surgical monitoring, phlebotomy, exam room assistance, microscopic evaluation, and preparing prescriptions, along with general customer service duties.

Compensation and full-time benefits :

  • Competitive pay : $15 - $17 / hr
  • Schedule : Mon-Friday (half day Fridays! And NO WEEKENDS!)
  • Bonus packages available : $500 for VAs with 3 consecutive years of experience

    • Required Experience :

  • 3 years of Veterinary experience
  • 1 year of experience of surgical monitoring and assisting is required for this role
  • Experience with phlebotomy and IVC placement
  • Adept and comfortable with client communication and education
