PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
As a Busser and Food Runner, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience with a focus on excellent customer service, ensuring
DETAILED JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create a welcoming environment for all members and guests.
- Offer assistance to guests by clearing dishes and glassware.
- Clear tables after service and reset tables.
- Replenish water and serve beverages during service.
- Assist servers by delivering food orders to customers quickly and accurately.
- Communicate with customers to ensure their experience is satisfactory.
- Clean, maintain and restock bus area during shift and for next day shifts.
- Perform proper safety and sanitation standards including, but not limited to, general cleaning and sanitizing of surfaces, taking out the trash, and sweeping/mopping/vacuuming.
- Monitor cleanliness of restrooms.
- Prepare room for dining by moving tables and chairs, clothing tables and setting decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates, and utensils.
- Perform all assigned side work, both pre and post shift.
- Protect establishment and customers by adhering to sanitation, safety, alcohol beverage control policies, and food safety principles.
- Promptly address any customer service issues in a professional manner and refer to management if necessary.
- Follow uniform and personal appearance standards, as well as all employee standards outlined in the employee handbook(s).
- Other duties as assigned by Food and Beverage Manager, Catering and Events Manager, or General Manager.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
- Meets state minimum age to serve alcohol.
- Previous experience as a food runner or server preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Capacity to be on your feet for long hours.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, rotate, climb, stand, push, lift, grasp, and reach.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move objects up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in various extreme weather conditions.
- Willingness to work with or around sharp utensils, harmful chemicals and/or flying golf balls.
