Overview: Play a critical role in the growth and success of Tree & Landscape and Plant Health Care production in Kenosha, Racine, Walworth Counties and surrounding area. Responsible for ensuring efficient operations, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with Department Managers, Sales Arborists and production team members to provide quality tree care in an effective, efficient, and timely manner.
· Provide sales support, as needed, including making property visits, meeting with clients, and providing written service proposals to clients and prospects.
· Develop and maintain professional and productive relationships with Premier Golden Oak clients, including onsite collaboration with team members.
· Utilize Client Relationship Management (CRM) software to schedule work and crews.
· Work with Sales Arborists, Department Managers and/or vendors to resolve property damage or client issues and complaints.
· Perform Tree and Landscape and Plant Health Care production duties. Ensure proper timeliness and quality of services provided.
· Oversee production staff members that report to the South Office. Ensure staff uphold the standards and core values of the company.
· Foster a culture of continuous improvement through training and professional development opportunities for production team members.
· Provide coaching and training as needed. Record and document staff issues and concerns.
· Be an active and present leader in the company. Attend and actively participate in weekly Department Managers and Operations meetings as well as other company meetings and training throughout the year.
· Purchase and maintain inventory of materials and supplies.
· Assist in creating and accomplishing goals to advance the company; and be an advocate for the company and the Leadership Team.
· Enforce and maintain strict safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and the public. Assist in identifying and rectifying potential hazards.
· Assist in developing and managing annual department budgets. Identify cost-saving opportunities.
· Maintain the facility, tools and equipment in a clean and professional manner.
· Stay informed about industry regulations, permits, and certifications required for tree care operations.
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
· Minimum ten years of experience in the green industry, preferably tree care, with a minimum of three to five years in a managerial or supervisory role.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, employees, vendors, and business partners effectively.
· Strong knowledge of tree care practices, safety protocols, and industry standards.
· Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members effectively.
· Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
· Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
· Familiarity with relevant local regulations and environmental standards governing tree care operations in Southeast Wisconsin
· Maintain ISA Certified Arborist credentials as well as 3.0 Turf & Landscape Pesticide Applicator credentials for Wisconsin and Illinois.
· Obtain Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) within 6 months.
· Attend Dale Carnegie Leadership Course within one year of placement in the position.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to learn and use required software, including Fleetio Fleet Management and Client Relationship Management software.
