A new Credit Analyst position has opened due to this growth.
The Credit Analyst role is an important customer facing role at Wacker Neuson. This is an excellent place to start and then develop your skill sets and move into positions with more responsibilities.
The Credit Analyst’s primary role is to control the credit exposure of the organization relating to customer sales. This position will be responsible for minimizing risk to the company by evaluating new customers, establishing and monitoring credit limits, collecting on past due accounts and reconciling cash.
This person will work directly with Senior Credit Analysts and Credit Manager on more complex issues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Credit Management and Analysis
- Assess and authorize customer credit limits in order to mitigate risk. Includes review and analysis of financial data, credit investigation using external sources and review of customer history within the organization.
- Works with internal and external partners to complete necessary documentation in order to secure customer sales.
- Monitors and manages the release of credit-hold orders
- Reviews and maintains sales tax records.
Customer Account Management
- Communicates with customer accounts payable departments to ensure proper application of funds.
- Reconciles outstanding invoices and credits.
- Resolves customer discrepancies, disputes and complaints, working with other departments regarding returns, credits, warranty claims.
- Performs cash application as needed.
Accounts Receivable Collections
- Conducts collection calls in order to expedite collection of Accounts Receivables.
- Works with the sales force on critical credit related issues which would affect the ability to sell to the customers.
Other
- Participates in department projects and takes an active role on cross-functional teams to assist in driving quality improvements, processes, and initiatives.
- Works with outside partners, when necessary, to facilitate the day to day account management (i.e. credit bureaus, finance providers, collection agencies).
- Effectively communicates department payment policies and programs to the field and customers.
- Works with customer service, sales operations, the field sales force and /or business systems area to ensure compliance with strategic document delivery requirements.
Safety:
- Performs all job functions in a safe manner and maintains safety awareness.
- Reports known accidents, injuries and unsafe practices and/or conditions to supervisor.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance related program.
- A minimum of 1 year of Credit or Financial experience.
- Ability to apply accounting principles to the analysis of a client’s financial statements, and secure a timely payment program while using commercial sensitivity, business insight and professional judgment.
- Excellent verbal, written and public speaking skills.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing process improvements.
- Strong conflict resolution and problem solving skills.
- Proficient computer skills including Word and Excel. SAP experience desired.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time and must have a valid driver’s license.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND/OR WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to use a keyboard, calculator, and telephone. Frequent sitting, talking, hearing, and occasionally stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, lift (10 lbs.), and an ability to adjust vision for close vision work. Up to 10% of time spent in manufacturing environments around industrial equipment. Able to travel up to 10% to other Company locations.
