Established Civil / Business Litigation Firm seeks an associate attorney for an immediate opening in the consumer collections litigation group. The associate will work with a partner and other senior attorneys in a multi-state consumer litigation practice. The associate will have the opportunity to participate in hearings, depositions and trials.
Ideal candidates must have exceptional interpersonal skills, excellent academic credentials, and strong research, writing and oral communication skills. Travel is required. This position does not require working experience.

Responsibilities
The job responsibilities may include, among others, managing a docket of litigation files, which may include drafting motions, pleadings, memoranda and briefs, discovery demands and responses, conducting legal research, preparing for and attending depositions, hearings, trials, and communicating with courts and opposing parties.
Minimum Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Nevada
- No working experience required
- Previous work experience as an attorney on civil litigation matters with focus on creditor’s rights and collection desired but is not required for this position
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and experience in handling a large volume of cases in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage a caseload independently and responsibly
- Some travel required
Physical Demands and Working Environment
Work requires frequent walking, standing, bending, and carrying items up to 25 pounds. Regular, predictable, and punctual attendance is required for performance of duties, as well as extended and unscheduled work hours to meet caseload demand.
