Commercial Account Managers at Wade Ford are sought after experts, highly respected and versed in fleet procurement and contracting. They provide a full range of services including research and business development, product knowledge, finance and lease options, upfitting and most importantly, serving as a long-term trusted business partner. Our Fleet accounts return year after year as they feel confident in the level of product, service and professionalism provided by our commercial sales professionals.

As a CAM, you will

  • Develop and maintain contact with federal, state, and/or local government agencies, utilities, school districts and other privately owned operations to secure fleet business, actively utilizing the bidding process.
  • Solicit new commercial fleet accounts.
  • Configure upfits that are suited to customer specifications
  • Follow up on dealership payment for delivered fleet, lease company and commercial account vehicles routinely.
  • Act as source for national and local courtesy deliveries (supplying specifications as needed for orders).
  • Ensure quality deliveries of all fleet sales.
  • Provide monthly sales forecasts to GM and Fleet Manager.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Attend department and/or store meetings as requested.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
