What are the responsibilities and job description for the Irrigation Laborer and Installer position at Wade Landscaping?
Scope of work will include at times a variety of landscaping duties that include but that are not limited to maintenance of properties or construction of new landscaping to properties. This work will also include mowing and trimming duties, spring and fall cleanups as well as aeration and overseed and fertilization. As for an irrigation laborer, they are responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems. They work under the supervision of a supervisor or irrigation technician to ensure that the irrigation system is functioning properly and efficiently. The job duties of an irrigation laborer may include:
1. Assisting in the installation of irrigation systems, including digging trenches, laying pipes, and connecting sprinkler heads.
2. Operating and maintaining irrigation equipment, such as pumps, valves, and controllers.
3. Monitoring and adjusting irrigation schedules to ensure proper watering of plants, lawns, or crops.
4. Inspecting and repairing irrigation system components, such as pipes, valves, and sprinkler heads.
5. Troubleshooting and resolving issues with irrigation systems, such as leaks, clogs, or malfunctions.
6. Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning filters, replacing worn-out parts, and lubricating moving components.
7. Assisting in the calibration of irrigation equipment to ensure accurate water distribution.
8. Monitoring water usage and conservation practices to ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines.
9. Assisting in the preparation of irrigation plans and layouts for new installations or renovations.

As a landscaping company during the winter months, scope of work will also include snow removal such as plowing and or shoveling as weather permits. During non-snow events, work will include maintenance on vehicles and equipment as well as cleaning equipment.
