Position Description:
We are looking for a Construction Inspector to join our Construction department to improve infrastructure in our Taylor office. Candidates must have a high school diploma, a minimum of three years of related inspection experience and a valid driver's license. SESC/Storm Water Operator and Concrete and Density testing certifications are preferred. Candidates must be self-motivated and able to work well with others.
\n- Conduct field inspections
- Record inspection daily reports
- Monitor construction operations
- Act as the on-site liaison with client and community
- Organize and maintain construction documentation
- Develop an understanding of plans and specifications
- Operate testing equipment
- Assist Project Manager with contract requirements
- Prepare forms and other paperwork in a timely manner
- Attend seminars and/or training courses
- Maintain excellent client relations
- Maintain a safe working environment
- High School Diploma
- 3 years of related experience required
- A valid driver's license
- Trench and Safety Training and 40 Hour OSHA training is a plus
- SESC/Storm Water Operator, Concrete and Density testing certifications are preferred
- Strong communication skills
