Position Description:
Wade Trim is seeking an Engineering Summer Intern for our ICE group in our Traverse City or Flint offices. Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (junior or senior status preferred) and possess valid driver’s license. Familiarity with Microsoft Office is required. Candidates must be self-motivated, very organized and have excellent communication skills.
\n- Assist in design reports and construction plans
- Assist with the coordinate preparation of specifications and permit submittals
- Assist in the preparation of preliminary project cost estimates and evaluate quantities
- Document design changes and communications
- Conduct on-site inspections as needed
- Maintain excellent client relations
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must have interest in Natural Gas
