The Dog Service Specialist team members play a vital role in our hotel's operations. The Dog Service Specialist will care for hotel guests and ensure their health and happiness while in our care. You must have a strong work ethic, integrity, honesty, and be an enthusiastic team member. Team members work together in a fast-paced, detailed oriented environment to ensure that all guest needs are met.
Shifts available: Typically 10am -3 pm as needed.
Weekends are a must!
This position would be ideal for anyone looking for extra income who has a passion for animals.
Responsibility:
- Takes guests from room to play spaces and provides an engaging, personalized play session with the guest.
- Completes and documents notes as it relates to guests play style, energy and demeanor.
- Relays any concerns to Wag Hotels teams as it relates to guest’s temperament.
- Has general knowledge of dog behavior and can assess when dogs show or exhibit signs of stress.
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and moves quickly when completing tasks.
- Extremely thorough and has an attention to detail.
Requirements
- Must speak and write English fluently.
- Must have a love of animals, and base knowledge of dog behavior.
- Must be a good organizer and communicator.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet service deadlines.
- Must have patience with animals, and compassion.
- Courteous and professional and ability to work in a team environment.
- Work to establish and execute standards of Wag Hotels.
- Can stand for 4 hours, lift, and bend down as needed this is a physically demanding position.
- MUST be available to work holidays and weekends.
