The Dog Service Specialist team members play a vital role in our hotel's operations. The Dog Service Specialist will care for hotel guests and ensure their health and happiness while in our care. You must have a strong work ethic, integrity, honesty, and be an enthusiastic team member. Team members work together in a fast-paced, detailed oriented environment to ensure that all guest needs are met.

Shifts available: Typically 10am -3 pm as needed.

Weekends are a must!

This position would be ideal for anyone looking for extra income who has a passion for animals.

Responsibility:

• Takes guests from room to play spaces and provides an engaging, personalized play session with the guest.
• Completes and documents notes as it relates to guests play style, energy and demeanor.
• Relays any concerns to Wag Hotels teams as it relates to guest’s temperament.
• Has general knowledge of dog behavior and can assess when dogs show or exhibit signs of stress.
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency and moves quickly when completing tasks.
• Extremely thorough and has an attention to detail.

Requirements

• Must speak and write English fluently.
• Must have a love of animals, and base knowledge of dog behavior.
• Must be a good organizer and communicator.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet service deadlines.
• Must have patience with animals, and compassion.
• Courteous and professional and ability to work in a team environment.
• Work to establish and execute standards of Wag Hotels.
• Can stand for 4 hours, lift, and bend down as needed this is a physically demanding position.
• MUST be available to work holidays and weekends.
