Waggin’ & Waddlin’ Pet Care LLC is a dedicated pet care service that provides ethical and professional animal care. We are members of the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters and are certified by Pet Sitters International. Owner and founder Nicole is also enrolled in Catch Academy’s Master Dog Training Program. We are now expanding our team!
Job Summary:
- Part-time dog walker/pet sitter/pet transporter.
- This role will be in/near Quincy and Randolph. We also service Braintree, Canton, and nearby communities.
- The route is Monday through Friday, generally from 8:30am to 2:30pm. Please note, that you would not work the entire shift every day.
- Some weekend availability preferred, Saturday and/or Sunday from 8am to 1pm and/or 5pm to 10pm. This work is not every weekend.
- No two weeks are identical in pet care. Client demand influences our schedules. We appreciate candidates with flexible availability.
- This is independent work. We appreciate staff who can manage their time, use critical thinking, follow safety protocols, and have a strong sense of awareness.
- Ensuring the health of animals iis at the heart of everything we do.
Key Responsibilities:
- Walk dogs to ensure they receive proper exercise and care.
- Provide in-home pet-sitting services, including feeding, administering medication, cleaning litter
- boxes, and maintaining home routines.
- Transport pets safely to and from clients' homes, if necessary.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of pets by closely supervising and following owner instructions.
- Clean up after pets as needed.
- Professional written and verbal communication with clients, staff, and management.
Qualifications:
- We always appreciate candidates with prior professional or volunteer animal care experience.
- This is a job that requires safe and efficient driving. Dog walkers and pet sitters are always on the move.
- We work outdoors and on our feet. Be prepared to work in all four seasons.
- Preferred or willing to obtain certification in pet first aid and CPR through Waggin’ & Waddlin’ LLC.
- Animals require patience and empathy.
What we offer:
- $15 to $18 per hour, working 15 to 30 hours per week.
- $1000 to $2000 monthly, depending on availability and client demand.
