Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include
Responsible for implementing several Geospatial intelligence applications, combined AI, Analytics. Projects will primarily be water, wastewater, stormwater, power and utilities, and resilience related. Lead, develop, employ a full range of restoration tools based in the latest ESRI architecture framework (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, Advanced Analytics, spatial analysis, “what if scenarios”, Artificial intelligence, Dashboard analytics, reporting, and automation), and actively engage and coordinate a broad range of public and private agencies, and municipalities. Responsible for the design, development, and support of business intelligence solutions to meet reporting and analytic needs from our business partners in Direct Lending / Originations. Implement robust, reliable, and custom reporting and visualizations using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel). Develop and maintain self-service reporting solutions and/or automated solutions. Use SQL as main tool for data preparation: extracting, cleansing, aggregation, and summarizing data to create meaningful visualizations. Ensure the quality and accuracy of data by creating automated testing scripts. Participate in the design and implementation of logical and physical data models. Review proposed production changes to ensure highest quality data standards and lowest production impact. Navigate, understand, and leverage existing complex data structures for reporting. Support production BI solutions by monitoring and tuning SQL queries and data loads. Address user questions concerning data integrity. Monitor performance and communicates functional and technical issues proactively.
What You'll Need
Bachelor degree in Geography, Geomatics, Watershed Science, or other related field with a strong emphasis in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and 3 years of experience with GIS, geospatial computing, and/or satellite/drone imagery. Experience in developing and carrying out data analytical strategies and pipelines on GIS data. Experience working with large-volume datasets, those likely requiring novel data structures and/or parallelized workflows for analytical processing. Strong general computational skills and advanced proficiency programming in Python. Experience with Git or similar source control management system. Experience with ESRI ArcGIS suite of products and extensions, including 3D Analyst and Spatial Analyst. Strong understanding and experience with spatial data. Experience with workflow automation, model building, and Microsoft Office Suite.
