Position Summary: The Commercial Customer Service role is crucial in our organization by providing empathetic and effective communication to clients, ensuring the best insurance solutions to meet their needs. This role is essential for driving the company's success through customer retention and sales, reflecting the organization’s core values.
Essential Functions:
Account Manager Support
- Assist the Account Manager in all customer service, onboarding, and renewal duties as assigned.
- Communicate with clients, document in CRM, follow-up with underwriters and producers, and assist with renewal packages
Commercial Renewals
- Plan, prepare, and execute all Commercial Renewals.
- Start the renewal process 90 days prior to the effective date, pull quotes, send to clients, review applications, and present renewal proposals.
- For renewing clients: collect payment, submit a binder request 30 days prior, review binders, update the system, issue certificates, and set-up follow-up diaries.
- For non-renewing clients: document reasons, set-up diaries for reapproach
Customer Relations
- Timely and accurate COI processing for all Commercial Lines customers.
- Provide Certificates of Insurance with all required endorsements.
- Review alerts from insurance companies and process COI requests within 24 hours.
Producer Support
- Assist Producers with submissions for Commercial Lines new business.
- Establish positive relationships with producers, ensuring timely and accurate proposals and system updates.
Education and Training:
- High School Diploma
- Texas Property and Casualty License (required but will assist the right candidate earn it)
Experience:
- 2 or more years of customer service experience in commercial insurance.
Skills & Abilities:
- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Team player with a confident and mature attitude.
- Knowledgeable in all business insurance products.
- High emotional intelligence, ability to build rapport quickly, and establish trust.
- Strong business acumen and ability to multi-task and prioritize.
