Outside Sales Representative – Business Development Manager

Location : Macon

Job Type : Full-time

Salary : Competitive Base Salary Commission

Reports To : Sales Manager, Regional Vice President or Senior Vice President

Position Overview :

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. This individual will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and providing tailored staffing solutions. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated sales professional with a passion for delivering value to businesses through strategic talent placement.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation : Identify and engage potential clients through networking, cold calling, and other sales strategies.
  • Client Consultation : Present staffing solutions tailored to client needs, demonstrating a deep understanding of workforce challenges and industry trends.
  • Relationship Management : Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  • Talent Matching : Work closely with recruiters to align clients’ needs with qualified candidates, ensuring successful placements.
  • Market Research : Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging staffing needs to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Sales Documentation : Maintain accurate client records, track sales activities, and submit reports to management.
  • Contract & Agreement Preparation : Prepare and negotiate sales agreements, ensuring clarity on terms and conditions.
  • Order Processing : Create and submit customer orders while ensuring all staffing requests are accurately fulfilled.

Qualifications & Skills :

  • Proven experience in B2B sales , preferably in the staffing or human resources industry.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to present solutions effectively.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Knowledge of the staffing industry, including hiring trends, workforce challenges, and compliance requirements (preferred but not required).
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for client visits.
