WAGO Corporation is seeking a results-driven National Account Manager to lead, develop, and execute the sales and market strategies/tactics to grow market share/acceptance and sales for WAGO electrical contractor products in the retail market channels in US & Canadian markets.

Experience & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience in developing or executing marketing/sales to retail
5 years of proven success in business planning, marketing, product and/or project management and sales to home center, hardware, farm/ag, automotive and marine channels
Experience with customers such as Home Depot, Lowe’s, Ace Hardware and/or other major retailers
Knowledge of sales channels, commercial requirements, business processes, and/or systems required to develop and grow sales retail
Experience with leading and directing matrix organized project teams to achieve goals
Self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with a passion for identifying new opportunities, pursuing relationships, and developing/managing a business sector within a larger organization
Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
Must demonstrate ability to manage varied tasks and possess excellent organizational, computer, oral, and social media communication skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
Further develop, generate, and execute creative and strategic sales strategies that will increase market share in retail for WAGO contractor products
Work directly with merchants and/or manufacturer representatives to develop, plan, and coordinate, product/package selection, sales and promotional activities to capture and grow WAGO contractor product business
Develop proficiency on WAGO contractor products, applications, and competitive products and provide expertise to position and grow WAGO contractor products sales with sales partners and target customers
Identify, establish, develop, and maintain relationships with large retail companies such as The Home Depot and Lowe’s decision makers, specifiers, and marketing professionals
Help develop, support, and execute, marketing initiatives to increase awareness and educate market on WAGO contractor products. Participate in trade events, social media and other promotional events
Focus on engagement with key partners—travel as necessary to call on / train / support product selection, maintain PIM data, pricing, contractual agreements of key partners in the retail markets
Engage with WAGO local and global product management and marketing teams to define product offers and packaging requirements
Work with WAGO business organization to define EDI and business support metrics
Identify new potential markets and partners and trends in the retail markets and develop relationships/programs to internally and externally to facilitate significant sales growth
Document activities as required in CRM
Provide summary quarterly reports as required
Additional Responsibilities:
Must be able to travel via airplane
Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate an automobile for up to six hours at a time
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
Travel estimate of 30%. Travel to corporate headquarters will also be required on a periodic basis
