Supply Chain Network Planner

WAGO Corporation is seeking a dedicated individual to create and ensure a continuous and efficient inventory supply, while at the same time maximizing supplier, freight forwarder and customs compliance service levels to meet customer on-time delivery dates.   WAGO offers a dynamic culture, competitive salary, and a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, company-paid insurance plans-life, AD&D, short-term disability and long-term disability, and a retirement 401k plan.   Experience & Qualifications:   1–3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or a related field Strong written and verbal communication skills to foster collaboration, build positive relationships, and effectively prioritize tasks to meet deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; SAP experience preferred    Duties and Responsibilities:          Create stock transfer orders (STOs) in SAP and follow up on customer order backlog using SAP tools to enhance date visibility, ensure on-time delivery and prevent stock shortages Address basic customer, supplier and broker inquiries related to compliance, imports, and exports, escalating issues as needed in a timely manner Monitor freight forwarder platforms to track inbound and outbound shipments, notify relevant parties of same-day arrivals and provide updated ETAs Communicate with freight forwarders to obtain quotes, oversee import trade lanes, and resolve supply chain disruptions to support on-time delivery, minimize costs and reduce transport delays Coordinate with freight forwarders, brokerage, and billing teams to provide accurate information for customs clearance, duty exemptions and proper payment or reimbursement of duties Collaborate with warehouses, suppliers, and freight forwarders to ensure product integrity, maintain pallet quality and identify areas for improvement Ensure all imports and exports comply with U.S. regulations, including accurate harmonized tariff classification and ECCN database maintenance Participate in training programs, audit assessments, and CTPAT continuous learning initiatives to reinforce internal controls and compliance Maintain and update Supply Chain Quality procedures and work instructions Provide and receive backup support from a Supply Chain Network Planner and other department members      This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee.  Additional job-related duties may be assigned as required.      The undersigned has received a copy of this job description and understands the responsibilities required to perform the duties described.
