Job Description
Wagstaff Law Firm is seeking a Junior Attorney to join our growing Settlement team! This role is ideal for a recent law school graduate or an attorney with 1-3 years of experience, especially someone with a medical background or familiarity with medical terminology. As a Jr. Attorney, you’ll focus on writing, organization, and crafting cohesive exhibits, making this an excellent opportunity for those who prefer analytical and organizational work over litigation.

Essential Job Functions
- Assist with drafting and organizing settlement-related legal documents, including settlement agreements and case summaries.
- Analyze medical records and other case-related documentation to prepare clear and cohesive exhibits.
- Conduct research to support settlement negotiations and case evaluations.
- Collaborate with attorneys and team members to ensure the accuracy and clarity of settlement documentation.
- Maintain organized records for settlement cases and track deadlines.
- Medical record review and organization
- Draft correspondence to clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders regarding settlement matters.
- Monitor case progress and provide regular updates to the Settlement team.
- Review and edit case documentation to ensure compliance with settlement agreements and legal standards.
- Assist with other tasks related to settlement processes as needed.
