What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Student Services (including Special Education) position at Wahoo Public Schools?
Requirements:
- Have a Master’s Degree in administration
- Hold or be eligible to hold a certificate in administration
- Have successful experience in teaching and/or administration of special education
Expected Duties:
- Supervision of the special education program, along with the potential of ELL and HAL programs
- On-campus working hours
- Attend board of education meetings, as requested
- Oversee special education staff (certificated and classified)
- Assist in completing federal, state, and local reports and applications
- Assist in transportation coordination as it relates to special education
- Work cooperatively as part of an administrative team
Terms of Employment:
- 220 day contract
