The Director of Operations will work with ownership to oversee the day-to-day activities of Wailani Kauai ensuring that we are expertly managed and performing effectively and efficiently while exceeding guest and owner expectations.
Our expanding firm is looking for an experienced and innovative Director of Operations with a proven track record of implementing plans and strategies that increase productivity. The ideal candidate will have a background in operations management and experience in managing employees and vendors. We're seeking a hardworking, enthusiastic team player with excellent leadership and communication skills. In addition, we require that the Director of Operations has experience taking an active role in developing strategic plans as well as the ability to uncover opportunities for improvement.
Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of daily operations for a portfolio of Vacation Rentals and Estate Management homes including:
- Cleaners: manage and schedule out cleans, deep cleans and mid-stay cleans, along with expanding cleaning options and negotiating pricing for cleaning new homes
- Inspecting homes post departure and pre-arrival
- Communication with owners
- Point of contact for guests during their stay
- Managing linen/terry: including ordering, inventory, commercial laundering and organizing at our storage units
- Coordinate preventative maintenance, repairs and other vendors for the homes
- Manage and train current employees. Create schedules, review time sheets and approve payroll. Recommend new hires and train new employees.
- Create SOP’s and templates for property management app
- Create and enforce company policies for guests and vendors
- Inventory and ordering of all guest amenities and cleaning supplies
- Monitor and respond to guest reviews/comments
- Ensure safety of all guests, employees and owners
- Conduct research and analysis of competition and customers.
- Recommend changes for short and long-term growth.
- Develop strategies for improving efficiency.
- Work with management to identify operational problems, develop solutions, and implement changes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
