PRN Advanced Practice Provider at Watauga Medical Center
Work as part of an Emergency Medicine team to improve outcomes for patients in a dynamic Emergency Department. As an Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider, you will work alongside EM Physicians, other EM APPs, and EM nurses and staff to take care of patients and save lives. Though APPs in this role will collaborate with and share all patients with physicians, autonomy is both encouraged and fostered. Our EM APPs will learn to manage acute and chronic conditions with increasing independent expertise and are encouraged to practice at the top of their license. Although the focus of this role is primarily clinical, there will be Career Development opportunities with access to get involved in Education, Administration and Leadership.

Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
- Licensed, or eligible, for North Carolina as an NP or PA.
- Nurse practitioners must be ENP certified or eligible to sit for ENP boards within 6 months.
- BLS, ACLS, and ATLS through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
