Position Highlights:
- Location : Wilkes Medical Center, North Wilkesboro, NC
- Schedule : PRN, working around college class schedule and clinicals
What You'll Do:
Provide optimal patient care, appropriate to the span of ages served, while efficiently operating radiographic equipment for the purpose of producing quality, interpretative radiographs or images for the provision of diagnostic information. The trainee performs while under the supervision and/or direction of Staff Radiologic Technologists and technical supervisors and in accordance with the Hospital and Departmental policies and procedures.
What You'll Need:
- Currently in the second year of an approved Radiologic Science Associate Degree Program
- One year of training in an approved two-year Radiologic Science Program
- Certification in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (BLS)
Skills for Success:
- Able to communicate on a professional level with physicians, nurses and other ancillary professional staff when discussing procedures and patient care.
- Clinical skills to enable recognition and to function accordingly in relation to prioritizing of patient needs.
- Adaptable to changing work schedules
