Summary
The Security Administration department is responsible for security controls for applications in the enterprise (Wakefern and Retail), including Mainframe, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Rapid, and others. The environment is comprised of 90,000 user accounts from Wakefern & subsidiaries, Member organizations, third-party distribution centers, and labor forces, as well as consultants and vendors. The controls include user onboarding, access provisioning, access auditing, transfers, and terminations. This position is responsible for performing various daily Security Administration functions (user onboarding, access provisioning, and transfers), providing initial problem identification, resolution, and support, being responsible for areas in the System Security Administrator’s absence, and ensuring all legal documentation is properly approved prior to onboarding any non-Wakefern user.
Essential Functions
- Perform various daily Security Administration functions (user onboarding, access provisioning, and transfers. Systems include : Metafile, Post Check, Aurus, SAP, RAPID, HCM, Oracle / iPro.
- Maintain proper security controls and policies, along with maintaining segregation of duties in systems like S / 4, Fiori, BOBJ, BW / 4HANA, and cloud-based applications.
- Provision and de-provision SAP access using the SailPoint platform.
- Advise the Wakefern Security team in their day-to-day activities, providing short- and long-term goals to maintain a secure SAP environment.
- Perform periodic system access user auditing.
- Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve end-user system access problems on a daily basis via phone and / or email.
- Advise the System Security Administrator of end-user issues and resolutions on a daily basis.
- Review the daily Tech Security report generated via activity in PeopleSoft.
- Review daily Oracle alerts to ensure usage was warranted.
- Create roles and permissions lists for SAP, Oracle, and PeopleSoft, as required.
- Create responsibilities, legal entities, and define printers in Oracle as required.
- Educate the end-user community related to proper procedures and policies regarding proper system access. In addition, provide direction, guidance, and assistance to end-users as required.
- Remain actively involved in all testing of security features when an application is implemented and / or upgraded.
- Ensure all legal documentation (i.e., Direct Access Agreements) is properly approved prior to onboarding any non-Wakefern user (third party, consultants, broker-paid employees, temporary employees, etc.). In addition, ensure all documentation is properly maintained for review and verification purposes.
