Job Description

Wal Machine, an aerospace manufacturer in West Babylon, is looking for full-time CNC Machinists

Qualifications :

Proven experience with set up and operating 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC milling machines.
Experience with OKK Machines preferred.
Capable of inspecting your own work to check sheets and instructions.
Ability to edit and program on machines to optimize existing programs.
Proficiency in reading manufacturing drawings. An understanding of blueprints and tolerances.
Aerospace manufacturing experience required.

Responsibilities :

Set up and operation of 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC milling machines including verticals and horizontals.

Will be expected to operate multiple machines.

Conducting in-process inspections.

Communicating tooling needs and machine issues to supervision. Maintain fluid levels.

Hours : Monday – Friday, 7 : 00am-3 : 30pm, 40 hours a week, possible overtime as needed
