About the Job
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Yard Truck and City Driver. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting trailers and delivering merchandise to stores.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Operating a tractor/trailer unit in a safe and correct manner
- Transporting trailers to designated locations
- Maintaining records and logs
- Ensuring the safety and compliance of our facilities
- Delivering trailer loads of merchandise to stores
- Maintaining accurate records and adhering to all safety requirements
Requirements
- Valid state-issued driver's license
- Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain within 120 days
- Minimum 30 months experience working in a full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving position
- No more than two moving violations in the last three years
- No serious traffic violations while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three years
- No convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless driving involving alcohol/drugs in the last ten years
