Job Overview
This role involves operating a Yard Truck/ to transport trailers safely to designated locations, adhering to all regulations. The individual will also be responsible for maintaining records, logs, and forms, including those required by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate tractor/trailers in a safe and correct manner.
- Transport trailers to appropriate destinations in an accurate and timely manner.
- Maintain trailers by inspecting mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment.
- Ensure quality by maintaining records, logs, and forms.
Requirements:
- Valid state-issued driver's license.
- Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within 6 months of job entry date.
- No more than two moving violations while operating a personal or commercial motor vehicle in the last three years.
- No serious traffic violations while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three years.
