Salary: The hourly wage range for this position is $14.45 to $28.65. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives, as well as premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
Job Description: As a Yard Truck Driver, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Operating a yard truck or tractor/trailer unit safely and correctly by adhering to all regulations.
- Transporting trailers to designated locations in an accurate and timely manner.
- Maintaining a clean work environment to ensure safety and compliance.
- Inspecting trailers to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid state-issued driver's license.
- To obtain a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within 6 months of job entry date and maintain it while employed in this position.
- A minimum of 30 months experience working in a full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving position in the previous 3 years.
