Pharmacy Technician LTC

Looking for a detailed oriented, highly motivated, high-energy technician who can multitask to work in a dynamic department that focuses on teamwork and collaboration with other medical professionals daily.

Applicants will also be expected to:

• Offer superior customer service, including but not limited to:
  1. Politely greeting & attentive listening via phone and teams.
  2. Tech must have strong customer service via phone.
• Professionally interact with healthcare professionals such as insurance companies and providers directly during day-to-day work.
• Have strong data entry skills (preferred skill in place, but willing to complete on the job training as well)
• Have a strong understanding of Care-Sync process (preferred skill in place but willing to train on the job)
• Meeting all customer needs related to pharmacy 
• Help with the prescription filling process, including but not limited to: 
  1. Data Entry 
  2. Print Queue
  3. Multitasking with Teams messaging
  4. Manage Framework/ECM documents
  5. Prescription filling
  6. Prepare daily med orders
  7. Process weekly cycle orders
  8. Process monthly cycle fills 
• Inventory control
  1. Outdates
  2. Overstock
  3. Daily orders
• Have impeccable attention to detail
• Accept and complete Pharmacist delegated responsibilities
• Be self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision
• Offer flexibility in work hours scheduling.  
• Perform pharmacy maintenance, including but not limited to: 

1. Cleaning 

• Counters and work areas
• Floors 

1. Storage & Supplies

• Properly file prescriptions
• Office supplies
• Cleaning supplies 

Schedule

• Flexible schedule
  1. Position currently is 9am to 6pm Monday-Friday with one Saturday per month, 9am-1pm
• 36-40 hours per week
