OVERVIEW

WMG is looking for a personable, talented, and detail-oriented media professional to join our growing Ads team, with demonstrable experience executing inbound and outbound marketing initiatives that generate leads and engage customers. Your day to day will be collaborating with a team to set-up, configure, maintain and optimize Google and Meta ad tools and platforms, manage and adhere to daily ad budgets, and optimize to deliver the highest ROI to our clients.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage ad and media budgets for a portfolio of clients, ensuring maximum ROI across omnichannel campaigns within budget.
  • Daily Spend Monitoring & Adjustments - Ensure that daily ad spend aligns with the overall monthly budget with accounting for platform fluctuations and pacing adjustments.
  • Forecasting and Budget Planning - proactively forecast ad spend and expected return based on past performance seasonal trends, and/or industry benchmarks. 
  • A/B Testing & Experimentation - Run and evaluate A/B tests on creative, audience targeting, bid strategies, and other campaign variables to maximize conversation rates and ROI.
  • Ad Compliance & Policy Adherence - Ensure all campaigns adhere to platform policies (Google, Tiktok, Linkedin, Facebook, etc.) avoiding disapprovals or compliance issues. 
  • Tracking and Attribution Implementation - Oversee tracking setup, including UTMs, conversion pixels, event tracking, and CRM integrations to maintain accurate performance measurement. 
  • Lead & Conversion Quality Analysis – Go beyond tracking clicks and conversions by analyzing lead quality, sales data, and customer retention impact.
  • Work closely with the WMG team, clients, partners, and vendors to strengthen and grow ad and marketing programs across tracking, attribution, automation, and optimization.
  • Develop and continually maintain media budget documentation.
  • Communicate wins and performance goals to internally and with clients.
  • Ongoing budget reconciliation and optimization
  • Account management and client relationship building and maintenance.
  • Crisis & Issue Management – Troubleshoot account bans, ad disapprovals, billing issues, and underperforming campaigns proactively.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest strategies, opportunities, challenges, and best practices in the media buying space.
  • Participate in the culture of the team and agency, maintain close collaboration with peers, and lead by example to promote professionalism and excellence.
  • Work with the Ads Team to constantly develop and iterate on business strategies and project execution to improve overall efficiency, growth, and performance.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3 years of experience in paid media buying & digital advertising across platforms like Facebook, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other programmatic networks.
  • Strong proficiency in media buying tools, including Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and demand-side platforms (DSPs).
  • Advanced knowledge of tracking and attribution, including Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics (GA4), Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, and Facebook Conversion API (CAPI).
  • Proficiency in audience research and segmentation, using Meta Audience Insights, Google Audiences, LinkedIn Audience Builder, and TikTok interest/behavior targeting.
  • Experience with CRM integrations and first-party data tracking, particularly in HubSpot, GoHighLevel (GHL), and other marketing automation platforms.
  • Proficiency in reporting and data visualization tools, such as Google Data Studio (Looker Studio), Google Sheets, and HubSpot reporting dashboards.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and apply insights to improve campaign performance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize campaigns, including bid strategy adjustments, creative refreshes, ad copy iteration, and audience exclusions.
  • Experience with automation and workflow tools, such as Zapier, Make (formerly Integromat), and HubSpot Automations to streamline data flow and reporting.
  • You’ve got experience with other marketing & website tools like Google My Business, MailChimp, Klavio, as well as online shopping and POS platforms like Shopify, Squarespace, and/or Zenoti.

  • You’re someone who shows initiative, find opportunities to make a positive business impact, and drive for strategic change
  • You can lead conversations with clients and management, provide structured thinking and analytical recommendations with the right level of detail
  • Confidence in your mathematical and analytical skills, with ability to project data-driven business impacts.
  • Versatility! You have the ability to context switch gracefully between working independently and collaboratively, working within process and adapting to unstructured situations, and be proactive but ask for help and support when needed.
  • Strong spelling and grammar. Experience with copy editing.
  • Ability to work in-office 4 days a week in our downtown Austin office. Remote one day a week.
  • You can work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
  • You can be available for very infrequent travel or after-hours events and client management needs.
