Company: Walden Media Group (WMG®)
Compensation: Competitive salary, commensurate with experience
Walden Media Group (WMG®) is a fast-growing growth consultancy and creative studio with a global advisory network. We partner with enterprise clients, venture-backed startups, and transformative brands to solve complex challenges across advertising, brand, technology, and operations.
At our core, we are thinkers, doers, builders, and believers, committed to craftsmanship, client impact, and creating solutions that matter.
We’re looking for a highly organized, confident, and people-savvy Project & Account Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives across client engagements. You’ll be the strategic glue between our clients and our internal teams, managing communications, keeping timelines tight, and ensuring everyone is rowing in the same direction.
This role is equal parts detail management and people leadership. You’ll facilitate meetings, document changing scopes and ideas in real-time, manage sprints, and delegate tasks to a world-class team of designers, advertisers, technologists, and marketers. You’re not just keeping the trains running - you’re helping us lay the tracks.
Client-Facing Leadership
- Serve as the key point of contact for assigned clients, maintaining strong, empathetic, and proactive relationships.
- Lead meetings and workshops that align stakeholders and bring clarity to complex initiatives.
- Represent the agency with charisma and professionalism—able to “work a room” with confidence and care.
Project Management
- Own the project lifecycle—from kickoff through delivery—with attention to scope, schedule, resources, and quality.
- Document evolving tasks, deliverables, and priorities with a clear, shared source of truth.
- Delegate effectively across multidisciplinary teams, ensuring accountability and alignment.
- Run daily standups, weekly sprint meetings, and project reviews.
Reporting & Strategy
- Develop reporting dashboards and updates for both internal leadership and external clients.
- Present utilization metrics, workload assessments, and project health directly to the CEO.
- Identify risks early and proactively solve problems before they become blockers.
- Experience in project management, account management, or production roles within advertising, design, or technology fields.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects across timelines and stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of creative and technical workflows in a fast-paced, agency or startup environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to make the complex simple.
- Empathy-driven leadership: a listener first, a delegator second, and a unifier always.
- Experience with project management tools like Asana, Notion, ClickUp, Google Workspace, and Slack.
- Detail-obsessed – you never let things slip through the cracks.
- Charismatic communicator – you can distill complexity, create clarity, and energize a room.
- Process-minded – you thrive on efficiency and improvement.
- Collaborative leader – you lead without ego and empower others to shine.
- Naturally curious – you ask questions, embrace feedback, and love to learn.
- Flexible PTO – Because you do your best work when you’re rested and respected.
- Comprehensive benefits – Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
- Growth potential – We actively promote from within and support long-term career paths.
- Ongoing learning – Access to workshops, training, and professional development opportunities.
