What We are Looking for:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HRIS / Benefits Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing the functionality of our HRIS system (UKG Pro, formerly Kronos WFM), managing employee benefits programs, and supporting various HR processes. The ideal candidate will have experience with HRIS systems, benefits administration, and a passion for delivering excellent service to employees.


What You'll Do:

  • HRIS Management: Maximize the functionality of UKG Pro (Kronos WFM), focusing on attendance management, leave tracking, and other HRIS system functionalities.
  • Benefits Administration: Assist with the coordination of employee benefits programs, including health and life insurance, retirement plans, leave of absence policies, PTO, workers’ compensation, and track leave requests.
  • Employee Benefits Support: Provide assistance to employees regarding benefits enrollment, answer questions, and resolve issues.
  • Billing & Verification: Verify and process benefits insurance billing to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Employee Lifecycle Events: Support HR processes related to employment lifecycle events in the HRIS system, including onboarding and status changes.
  • Data Audits & Reporting: Assist in creating, running, and reviewing reports for data audits to ensure the accuracy of employee records.
  • Documentation & SOPs: Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to HRIS and benefits administration processes.
  • Employee Engagement & Wellness: Assist in organizing and coordinating employee events and activities that promote wellness and a positive workplace culture.
  • Recruiting Support: Support the recruiting process, including interviews, offer letters, background checks, and employee orientation.
  • Headcount & Workforce Reporting: Assist with headcount reporting and workforce analysis to support HR and business needs and decisions.
  • Compliance Reporting: Provide support in annual compliance reporting, such as EEO-1 and OSHA reporting.


What You'll Need:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience in HR, benefits, and/or payroll.
  • Ability to work effectively independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Proficiency with applicable HR technology and software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.


What We would Love You to Have:

  • 3 years of relevant HR work experience, particularly in benefits and leaves of absence administration.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proficiency in UKG Pro, with a strong focus on Workforce Management administration.

Physical Requirements:

  • This role primarily requires sitting for extended periods at a computer workstation, with occasional standing or walking to retrieve documents or interact with colleagues.


Working Conditions:

  • Work will be performed in a standard office environment, with frequent use of computers and office equipment, requiring the ability to sit for extended periods and perform repetitive hand movements while typing; occasional lifting of light items may be necessary.
