Job Description
Summary of major responsibilities
- Sweep and mop warehouse floors to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
- Collect and dispose of trash throughout the building, including warehouse and office areas.
- Perform routine inspections to identify maintenance needs or potential safety hazards.
- Assist and organize in designated areas, ensuring proper inventory management.
- Ability to perform light value added services.
Job Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Assist with various side tasks as assigned, including minor repairs, furniture moves, or setting up for events.
- Assist with the restocking and shelving of materials when required.
- Label and tag products as necessary for proper identification and tracking.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards while handling materials.
- Become cross-trained to maintain workflow balance
- All other duties based on business needs
Qualifications include
- A Brisk walking speed
- Lift up to 40lbs
- An understanding of warehouse safety
Job Hazards
The Facilities position requires various physical and environmental demands. Job hazards may include, but are not limited to:
- Frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, and reaching.
- Prolonged periods of standing or walking.
- Lifting and carrying heavy objects up to [weight limit, e.g., 50 lbs].
- Operating tools, machinery, or equipment with moving parts.
- Exposure to loud noises, dust, and potentially hazardous chemicals (with proper protective equipment provided).
- Working at heights using ladders, lifts, or scaffolding.
Job Type: Full-time, Hourly Position
- Hours are Monday- Friday
- 7 am-3:30 pm, or 6am - 2:30pm
- Typical workweek is 40 hours
Compensation
- Hourly compensation
- $18 - $18.50
