About Us:

Walker Digital Table Systems, LLC (WDTS) innovates and develops products for the Asian and North American gaming markets including the PJM enabled Perfect Pay suite of table games solutions. Perfect Pay combines the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of an electronic table game with the emotion and excitement of the live dealer table game experience.

The senior management team within the group comprises, of necessity, highly skilled executives with critical experience in the field of complex system solutions for the casino environment, knowledge of casino and resort operations at the most advanced level and high-level understanding of the strategic importance of solutions which meet the compliance, security, financial integrity and customer relationship needs of resort operators.

Job Summary

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing daily activities for our corporate accounting functions, including financial reporting, accounting operations, accounts payable and accounts receivable. This role reports to the Global Controller, ensures the integrity of financial data, adherence to industry regulations, and implementation of best accounting practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gaming, software/ managed services companies, hardware accounting, and a solid understanding of regulatory requirements.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, credit card reporting, cash and bank management, accounts receivable and general ledger management.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and gaming industry regulations.
  • Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
  • Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely and accurate tax filings.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting efforts.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, financial regulations, and changes in gaming laws that may impact accounting practices.
  • Maintains compliance with local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with at least 6 years of progressive experience and 1-2 years of supervisory experience. Additional work experience in lieu of education may be considered.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.

Education And Experience

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with at least 6 years of progressive experience and 1-2 years of supervisory experience. Additional work experience in lieu of education may be considered.
  • Public accounting experience preferred.
  • CPA or CMA preferred.
  • Experience in the casino gaming or tech industries preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a desk or computer station.
  • Occasional lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds, such as hardware, equipment, or office supplies, with or without assistance.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring fine motor skills, such as typing, using office equipment, conducting hardware testing, or operating a computer.
  • Ability to travel (if applicable) for customer service needs, or site visits, which may involve extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, lifting, pulling, and/or pushing.
  • Ability to participate in in-person meetings and presentations, including standing or moving about a room.
  • Must be able to work in an office environment with varying noise levels and demands.

Total Rewards

$105,000.00 - $135,000.00 annually. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the selected candidate. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as business results.
