A growing private equity-backed oil and gas firm is seeking a Reservoir Asset Engineer to join its Dallas-based team. The firm focuses on technical evaluation and management of assets in the upstream oil and gas sector. The Engineer will collaborate across disciplines to support the firm's various funds and non-op properties. Responsibilities :
- Oversee and manage the monthly reserves process, ensuring accurate reports, documentation, and reconciliations, while maintaining the reserves database.
- Update well decline curves regularly, documenting any significant changes, and evaluate key reserves drivers such as CAPEX and LOE.
- Create board decks
- Create reports and visual presentations for data analysis using tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and Spotfire.
- Monitor asset performance, drilling reports, and operational updates, providing regular feedback to the team on key developments.
