Walker Healthforce is seeking a Senior Performance Tester with a minimum of 5 years of experience to support a California-based public sector client. This is a contract opportunity with potential for extension/direct-hire after 6 months.
Hourly rate range: $35 - $45

Walker Healthforce is seeking a Senior Performance Tester with a minimum of 5 years of experience to support a California-based public sector client. This is a contract opportunity with potential for extension/direct-hire after 6 months.
Hourly rate range: $35 - $45
START DATE: 4/14/2025
CORE REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 years of experience designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests to include validating and reporting test results with an emphasis on defect management
- Expertise defining the testing strategy for large-scale programs
- Experience developing custom codes using C language to optimize/enhance LoadRunner Vugen scripts
- Skilled at facilitating test planning, test case design, test tool environment setup, and test data setup
- Experience creating test scenarios using Microfocus Performance Center or Imeter
- Demonstrated experience working with delivery teams to maximize the efficacy and efficiency of performance tests while maintaining the quality of deliverables and meeting evolving deadlines
- Experience identifying and prioritizing key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Experience leveraging various graphs to capture visual performance test data including Transaction Response Time (TRT), Hits Per Second (HPS), Pages Downloaded Per Second, Throughput, Memory & CPU Utilization
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review non-functional requirements, assess environments, and develop test strategies, plans, cases, and scripts to support effective testing that produces tangible results
- Conduct performance tests and analyze results before providing high-quality recommendations
- Collaborate with development teams, product owners, solution architects, and business teams
- Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions for delivery excellence, leveraging strong problem solving, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills to
- Effectively plan and manage project requirements, deadlines, and delivery
- Effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders
