Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team.
Our work season is approximately May 1st-October 15th.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role is essential in maintaining a productive work environment on-site.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris and setting up necessary equipment.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
- Follow instructions from supervisors to complete tasks effectively.
- Operate basic hand tools.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Comply with all safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive work.
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 80 pounds) and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is a plus.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced team members.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
