About the Role
The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of experience in safety management, specifically in mining, aggregates, or related heavy manufacturing industries. They should possess strong leadership skills, training facilitation expertise, compliance knowledge, and a collaborative approach to building trust.
Responsibilities
- Ensure MSHA compliance through training, reporting, and documentation.
- Conduct safety audits and lead site safety committees.
- Investigate incidents and provide strategic insights for preventative measures.
- Develop and deliver engaging safety training sessions.
- Collaborate on safety considerations for capital projects and site upgrades.
What We're Looking For
- Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading teams and influencing safety practices.
- Certification: MSHA Parts 46 & 48 required.
- Skills: Risk assessment, training delivery, compliance, and communication.
