Our client, a major player in the industrial sector with multiple production facilities across the U.S., is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Operations Support Manager to join their regional leadership team. This is a key role overseeing plant performance, engineering support, automation, reliability, and project execution across multiple sites.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead a high-impact regional technical support team focused on reliability, performance, and operational excellence.
- Oversee preventive maintenance programs, condition monitoring, and root cause failure analysis across plant assets.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives, lean manufacturing tools, and automation enhancements.
- Drive the implementation of reliability-centered maintenance programs to extend equipment life and minimize downtime.
- Support capital projects, fuel flexibility, and sustainability initiatives.
- Ensure environmental, health, and safety compliance while fostering a culture of safety and improvement.
Who You Are:
- A seasoned leader with 5–7 years of experience in industrial operations—ideally in manufacturing, mining, or construction environments.
- Background in engineering (mechanical, chemical, automation, or maintenance) with plant management experience.
- Strong in project management, continuous improvement, and lean methodologies.
- Capable of leading multi-site teams, managing competing priorities, and developing talent.
- Comfortable working in rugged environments and confident navigating complex technical systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience with SAP, condition monitoring tools, and critical equipment analysis.
- Mining or Minerals background considered ideal.
- Exposure to pyro-processing or similar high-heat industrial operations.
