Position Overview
The Sales Manager - Midwest will play a pivotal role in driving growth by managing and expanding business within the Eastern region of the United States. This remote-based role focuses on promoting and selling branded ingredients, premixes, and other solutions to clients in the food and beverage industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage active accounts and cultivate new leads / prospects within the Midwest territory.
- Build and sustain long-term relationships with key decision-makers, including R&D, purchasing teams, and senior management.
- Promote, sell, and secure orders through a consultative, needs-based sales approach.
- Develop and deliver effective proposals, quotations, and business presentations.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to tailor sales strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, logistics, quality) to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Participate in trade shows, conventions, and client meetings (travel up to 30%).
- Maintain accurate sales activity records in CRM / ERP systems.
