We are looking for an experienced Site Procurement Manager to oversee procurement and materials management at a large-scale manufacturing facility in El Dorado, AR.
This role is critical and part of succession planning. You will have the opportunity to train under the current Procurement Manager, learning from his 40 years of experience in the industry and company.
Key Responsibilities
♻️ Procurement & Materials Management
- Lead procurement activities, including sourcing, contracting, and supplier management.
- Work closely with plant teams to support daily operations, planned outages, and maintenance.
- Improve supplier performance, inventory management, and cost control.
📢 Supervision & Leadership
- Manage procurement and materials teams (5 direct reports).
- Maintain accurate ERP system data for planning and reporting (JDE experience preferred).
- Negotiate supplier terms to optimize costs and site-specific needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field.
- 10 years of supply chain experience, preferably in manufacturing (chemical or refinery experience preferred).
- 2-3 years of supervisory experience in procurement and inventory control.
- Knowledge of MRO supply categories and CAPEX procurement.
