Position Summary
The Workforce Development Program Coordinator will assist the program team with all program management activities associated with implemented programs. In this role, you will aid with supporting program staff, participants, and clients ensuring that information is accurate, files are maintained and continuously reviewed, and provide continuous communication with business contacts.

- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the program's strategic direction regarding energy efficiency and business activities of its employer contacts.
- Coordinate with agencies and allies to ensure proper organization of files, paperwork, and data entry as well as communication to the business contacts.
- Assist customers with understanding how to participate in program and coordinating paperwork and applications.
- Review project applications and documentation to ensure completeness and adherence to program rules and requirements. Communicate and follow up with program updates and disqualifications to participants.
- Maintain, update, and add entries to the program databases accurately. This may require contacting participants, clients, and employers.
- Help maintain and update additional program spreadsheets relating to project tracking, lead sharing, and any other needs of this nature that arise.
- Assist participants and clients to ensure they have the correct information and marketing materials to promote the program.
- Develop, grow, and maintain new and ongoing workforce partnerships using a variety of communication strategies (including direct cold calls) to gain industry knowledge and familiarity with organizational structures, business areas, technologies used, and/or any other special needs required on the job.
- Assists with the development and implementation of a plan to attract new employers/participants to meet program objectives.
- Support the outreach and application process to ensure program applicants adhere to program rules and requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of previous customer service experience.
- Must be a detail-oriented, organized, self-starter, and have an ability to prioritize workload.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Strong data entry skills in entering information in tracking systems/databases.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with customers, clients and team members.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data and solve practical problems.
- Knowledge of mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages and ratios.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
- Function well with a very diverse group of people.
- Work under frequent time pressures.
- Utilize good judgement to plan and accomplish goals.
- Troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Must be able to handle a wide work variety that may not be explicitly stated in the above listed duties and work in a fast-paced environment.

- Associates Degree
Licenses & Certifications:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Travel Requirements:
- 15% maximum travel required.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Required to sit, stand, walk; talk and hear; and ability to touch and handle tools and/or controls.
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
- Noise level is typically moderate.
