What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervisor I-Table Games position at Walker's Bluff Casino Resort?
The shift manager of table games is responsible to set and maintain a standard of performance by monitoring and assuring that procedures are in accordance with internal controls and IGB rules and regulations. Responsible for supervising table game staff on assigned shift and overseeing floor activity, scheduling, and may coordinate and/or perform training. Responsible for the control of the table game and assuring guest have a favorable gaming experience. Essential Functions:
- Provide exceptional guest service for all external and internal customers.
- Maintain security of games and adherence to established policies and procedures through continuous interaction with all table games personnel.
- Set-up daily card and dice impress and/or verification.
- Monitors the completeness and accuracy of the Player Tracking Forms and associated Pit paperwork.
- Assures proper spread of table games and recommends scheduling changes when necessary.
- Maintains ongoing communication with Casino Operations Manager and Table Games Director.
- Authorized to provide all complimentary privileges per company policy.
- Responsible for the on-going training and grooming of mid-management personnel.
- Monitor game operations to ensure that house rules are followed, state, and federal regulations are adhered to, and that employees provide prompt and courteous service.
- Observe gamblers behavior for signs of cheating such as marking, switching, or counting cards; notify a manager of suspected cheating.
- Maintain familiarity with the games at the facility, and with strategies and tricks used by cheaters at such games.
- Establish and maintain banks and table limits for each game.
- Report customer-related incidents occurring in gaming areas to manager.
- Assist with the operation of the Table Games department, successful performance of employees, and a favorable guest experience.
- Assist with managing, delegating duties, and the performance and development of department staff; inclusive of training, evaluating, and coaching of staff.
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years experience in table games in a Supervisor II position or above, or prior supervisory experience.
- Previous table games experience required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills required.
Schedule:
Full-time that varies based on events and holidays and includes days, nights and weekends.
