Bookkeeper General Responsibilities:
The essential duties for this position include but are not limited to:
- Demonstrates a positive attitude towards customers and coworkers.
- Checks and verifies source documents such as invoices, receipts and computer printouts for all retail locations.
- Routinely communicates with coworkers to assist and help customers as needed.
- Performs general office duties including but not limited to customer service, filing, scanning, answering telephones, radio and handling routine correspondence as well as occasionally performing receptionist duties.
- Works closely with the inventory to ensure accurate tracking and movement of merchandise company wide.
- Performs routine financial calculations such as but not limited to amounts due, verification of balances, processes discounts, payments and finance charges.
- Allocates and posts financial transaction details to subsidiary books.
- Tracks accounts receivables daily and reports on AR balances weekly.
- Maintains confidentiality of company records and documentation.
- Uses proprietary bookkeeping software, spreadsheets and databases.
- Enters financial transactions into the appropriate systems.
- Checks for accuracy in figures, postings and reports.
- Posts details of transactions including sales and cash receipts.

Qualifications:
- Good customer service, communication and teamwork skills.
- Microsoft Office Suite knowledge required such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Demonstrated experience and ability to successfully perform bookkeeper responsibilities is a plus.
Schedule:
This is a full-time position with a work schedule of Mondays through Fridays with required flexibility to work occasional Saturdays as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
- The pay rate is starting at $17.00- $17.50 per hour Depends on Experience (D.O.E.) with a 6-month review period.

Physical Requirements:
This position regularly requires prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift/carry/push/pull of objects up to 20 pounds as needed for general office duties.
