Job Description Walker's Furniture & Mattress is looking to hire a full-time, Parts Warehouse Specialist at our Spokane Valley, Washington location! Job Title: Parts Warehouse Clerk
Reports To: Admin Office Manager
Summary: The Parts Warehouse Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the incoming parts orders and maintaining the parts warehouse area. Our Parts Warehouse Specialist will possess great communication, time management, and organizational skills. Additionally, the Specialist will demonstrate professional and reliability as well as the ability to efficiently utilize computers and related programs.
Responsibilities: The essential duties for this position include but are not limited to: Customer Service
- Demonstrates a positive attitude towards customers and coworkers.
- Handles correspondence in a professional and courteous manner.
- Collaborates with coworkers to meet department goals and customer satisfaction.
- Communicates any difficult or complicated tasks to supervisor.
Parts Warehouse
- Receives orders and confirms accuracy against invoices and packaging lists.Organizes and stores received items in appropriate areas within the warehouse.Maintains paperwork records of orders, deliveries, and transfers.Uses computer software to record transactions for incoming shipments.Assists with accepting deliveries as well as unloading, prepping, pulling, and storing items or merchandise.Moves parts and other merchandise by hand or with the assistance of equipment.Ensures warehouse area is cleaned, organized, and free of all trash and recyclables.Maintains warehouse area to ensure parts and merchandise are protected from damage.

Education: None. Experience: Customer Service knowledge is preferred. Previous related warehouse experience is a plus. Experience to efficiently utilize computers and related programs is required.Physical Requirements: This position requires periods of sitting and/or standing at a desk and working on a computer in addition to the ability to but not limited to standing, sitting, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, balancing, stooping, and reaching. Must be able to lift/carry/push/pull of objects up to 50 pounds, and with the help of equipment and assistance maneuver heavier items.
