Compensation for this role is a $17-25/hour based on experience with opportunities for overtime. What You'll Do
- Assist in anesthesia's induction, monitoring, and recovery phases for various procedures.
- Ensure patient safety by adhering to established anesthesia protocols and closely monitoring vitals.
- Prepare surgical equipment and maintain a sterile, organized operating area.
- Assist veterinarians in appointments for sick and healthy patients, providing hands-on support during exams, treatments, and diagnostics.
- Educate clients on post-operative care and general wellness for their pets.
- Work collaboratively with veterinarians and fellow team members to deliver compassionate care.
- Other duties as assigned
What We are looking for:
- Experience or certification in veterinary anesthesia (CVT, LVT, RVT preferred, though skilled non-credentialed assistants are encouraged to apply).
- Proficiency with anesthesia monitoring tools and techniques.
- A strong understanding of routine and emergency veterinary care.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Generous Benefits Package for Full-Time Employees:
- Scrub Allowance: Eligible on 1st day

- Paid Time Time 40 hours first year (accrued)

Requirements:- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Veterinary experience required
- Ability to lift and or carry up to 50 lbs frequently
- Ability to walk, stand, and bend for sustained periods
- Ability to use hand and arms to handle and position animals, materials, equipment
