Concrete Manufacturing Manager - (wet cast or dry cast concrete production)

JOB SUMMARY

We are a leading manufacturer of wet cast or dry cast concrete products, seeking a dedicated and experienced Concrete Manufacturing Manager. This growth role is ideal for someone with experience leading a team or managing a production facility for either production type.

The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of our concrete manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production, quality control, and adherence to safety standards.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Oversee daily operations of the concrete manufacturing facility, including wet cast or dry cast production lines.

· Lead and manage a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.

· Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, promoting a safe working environment.

· Monitor and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.

· Implement and oversee quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of concrete products.

· Coordinate with other departments, such as sales and logistics, to ensure timely delivery of products.

· Manage inventory of raw materials and finished products, ensuring consistent supply and minimizing waste.

· Develop and implement plant policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.

· Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to production equipment and processes.

· Prepare and manage the plant budget, including cost control and financial reporting.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Strong knowledge of wet cast or dry cast concrete production processes.

· Proven experience in a leadership role within a concrete manufacturing environment.

· Excellent leadership and team management skills.

· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field - Or equivalent experience.

· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

· Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations related to concrete manufacturing.

· Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

· Strong working knowledge of OSHA and safety procedures

· Lean manufacturing

· Knowledge of ASTM standards for manufactured concrete products

· Production experience in concrete manufacturing plant
