QUOTE SPECIALIST
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Reports to: Customer Service Mgr.
The Quote Specialist is responsible preparing accurate, timely, and competitive quotes for prospective and existing customers with interest in Company, TTE, and/or iNRCORE products. This includes collaborating closely with Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and Engineering across multiple locations to ensure all quotes are aligned with the company pricing strategies. The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial - results oriented mindset, possess strong communication skills, is detail oriented, has experience using ERP and CRM systems to locate customer information, and a proven track record of success in a fast-paced, deadline- driven environment.
This position will report to the Customer Service Manager, Magnetics and will support sales activities for the Company, TTE, and/or iNRCORE product lines within the iNRCORE Family of Brands. The position will require occasional travel between NY and PA facilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or higher preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of three (3) years in sales support, quoting, or a related field; preferably in high precision manufacturing industries (i.e. space, defense, commercial aerospace, medical, etc.). Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a team of individuals located at multiple sites. Experience using ERP systems, ideally SAP and/or AS400; as well as CRM systems, ideally MS Dynamics.
KNOWLEDGE: Working knowledge of how to research information in an ERP system, and how to quote products out of a CRM or quoting software.
SKILLS: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and accuracy; self-starter with ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively; proficiency in MS Office Suite as need to drive results (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook); and experience with ERP and CRM / quoting software.

SPECIFIC POSITION DUTIES
Generate accurate quotes based on customer inquiries, including pricing, product specifications, and delivery timelines.
Review and analyze customer requirements, ensuring all necessary factors (e.g. discounts, volume, customization) are included in the quote.
Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and Engineering across multiple locations to ensure all quotes are aligned with the company quote policy and pricing strategies.
Maintain and update quote records in CRM or relevant systems, tracking the status and follow up actions for each quote.
Assist in the negotiation process by providing necessary documentation and adjusting quotes based on Sales, Engineering, and/or Operations feedback.
Ensure quotes are efficient, competitive, and aligned with pricing guidelines; balancing customer expectations with business needs.
Submit quotes to Regional Sales Managers, or when needed the Director of Sales, for final review; respond to any objections, and assist in converting quotes into sales.
Track and report quote conversion rates, trends, and key metrics to support sales forecasting and decision-making.
Analyze historical data and sales order history data in ERP and CRM to determine if pricing decision can be independently made or if Management approval is required.
For new and non-catalog parts, utilizing the Design Requirement Document, drawings and Regional Sales Manager (RSM): assign part numbers and coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain to determine cost of parts along with testing required while assuring compliance with customer requirements.
Provide pricing analysis options, using Excel as needed, with margins for Regional Sales Managers and, if required, the Director of Sales based on ERP cost and part history. Update pricing information in CRM and customer spreadsheets.
Own the Catalog Price List Master Files for Company businesses, providing review annually for management to determine new pricing and new adds to catalog.
Run Daily/weekly/monthly reports in CRM and ERP system for reporting price analytics to Management with analysis of data provided.
Collaborate with Finance and Director of Sales to track year-over-year price increases for the Company businesses.
All other duties as assigned.
