ROLE – Mixed Methods User Researcher
LOCATION – Remote
MAIN SKILLS – 4 years of experience in human-centered research: designing and conducting user studies, analyzing study data, and sharing results (reports, presentations, etc.), Comfortable analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, Able to produce meaningful visualizations and reports of the data, and effectively present results to different audiences and across multiple media formats
Minimum Qualifications
- 4 years of experience in human-centered research: designing and conducting user studies, analyzing study data, and sharing results (reports, presentations, etc.)
- Comfortable analyzing qualitative and quantitative data
- Able to produce meaningful visualizations and reports of the data, and effectively present results to different audiences and across multiple media formats
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in human factors, human-computer interaction, social or behavioral science, data analytics, or any engineering or computer science field
- Proficiency with qualitative research methods (e.g. interviews, thematic analysis, observational research, etc.)
- Proficiency in any data analysis and visualization software, and/or programming languages for data analysis (e.g. Matlab, JMP, SPSS, Python, R, Tableau, etc.)
- Experience using spreadsheet and presentation software (e.g. Numbers, Excel, Keynote, Adobe Illustrator, etc.)
- Solid understanding of statistics
- Prior research experience on artificial intelligence or machine learning
- Prior research experience on improving personalized user experiences
