Assistant Property Manager / Leasing Agent

This position is for Walkway Realty, hiring for a full time Assistant Property Manager / Leasing Agent to handle our new development located in Beacon, NY.
The Arno is a brand new 64-unit luxury development established along side the Fishkill Creek. Managed by Walkway Realty, we are looking for an assistant property manager / leasing agent to aid in the lease up of this new property. The best candidate for this job will have great communication skills, knowledge of rental software and CRM platforms, strong time management skills, and eager to learn. This position will quickly grow into a management position for other properties within the Walkway Realty portfolio which includes Beacon and Poughkeepsie NY.
Hours:
Monday – Friday 9-5 (Flexibility is essential for this role)
Saturdays / Sundays as needed – While lease up is in process, open houses may be needed
Job Description:
- Handles responding, scheduling, and showings of the property to prospective tenants via CRM platform, ILS, and phone
- Establishes tenant expectations and sets the standard of service for luxury property rental
- Prepares and executes new leases as needed
- Identifies qualified tenants through standard screening process
- Maintains resident retention by building positive relationships and executes lease renewals in accordance to NYS law
- Overseeing timely and successful completion of maintenance requests
- Updates marketing platforms daily
- Conducts regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure the property is well maintained
- Reports to the property manager
Skills Required:
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate across digital platforms.

- Proficiency in rental software such as RentManager and CRM platforms
- Time Management and the ability to prioritize time sensitive issues
- Knowledgeable in NYS Tenant Law – License not required
- Ability to identify potential issues and successfully execute a plan to resolve issues as they arise
- Teamwork and positive attitude to maintain positive relationships with both tenants and staff on the property
- Willingness to learn and grow with the company
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $42,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
