We are looking for an Accounting Assistant for our busy human services agency in Christiansburg, VA. Responsible specifically for representative payee duties and other general accounting duties. Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of experience with demonstrated accurate data entry skills and knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Knowledge of the representative payee system and / or social services is a plus. Must have working knowledge of accounting software, Excel, Word, and ability to work independently. QuickBooks experience preferred.

Required criminal background check must result in no Barrier or Financial crimes.

Full-time, regular position with office hours 8 : 30 to 5 : 00 M-F. Competitive pay and generous benefits.
